NICU Charity Challenge!
We are running a charity challenge through November 2023 for several
hospital NICUs. Our goal is 100 preemie quilts! The quilts will be used to
cover the incubator of a preemie baby to block the bright lights. The preemie
baby will then take the quilt home with them when leaving the hospital.
Guidelines:
• The quilt should measure 36 x 36" square. The top should be pieced and the
binding can be done any way you choose. Please use fabric
on the top suitable for a baby and the back should be a solid piece of fabric.
• All fabric should be cotton, no metallic fabric, no embellishments.
• Use cotton batting.
• Do not use monofilament thread or tie the quilts.
No rag quilts for this please.
• Quilts can be turned in through November for a chance to win a gift card.
Each quilt you turn in qualifies you for a chance for a $25 gift card.
There will be 4 drawings.
You can only win once. The drawing will be held at our December
meeting.
You do not need to be there to win.
