February 14, 2023
We will be viewing quilts from The Light Quilt Challenge. The quilts are made by members of multiple quilt guilds. We will have the opportunity to see them and then cast a vote for our favorite quilt.

March 14, 2023
Kevin Devine will be our speaker. He is a local quilter and member of The Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild. He is a very talented longarm quilter and designer of his own unique quilts. He will be sharing some of his works as well as talking about his Journey as a quiltmaker. (He also happens to be Shirley LeClerc's cousin)

April 11, 2023
Kim Soper of Feel Good Fibers will be our speaker. The topic will be Sustainability in Quilting. Let's talk about the small changes that we can make to be more sustainable in our quilting practices. We'll discuss upcycling, recycling, choosing environmentally friendly materials, and modifying our purchasing habits, as well as what some third-party certifications mean, such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX and Standard 100.

Come with questions for a Q&A discussion.

Kim will also be holding a Zoom workshop on Saturday April 15th from 10-12. This will be a large Group Declutter Mini-Workshop. This virtual workshop is perfect for large groups to participate in together from the comfort of home! In this 2-hour workshop we will start by talking about different ways to tackle sewing room clutter and mindsets to overcome blocks. Participants will sort, store, and organize their sewing spaces with opportunities each hour to ask questions specific to their space. Decluttering as a group is a fun way to support each other, share progress, and create space for new projects.

The cost of the workshop is $41.50 ($1.50 processing fee) if you pay on our website and $40 if you pay in person at our March meeting.
