Neumann University’s Mirenda Center 501 Convent Rd, Aston, PA 19014 July 22 & July 23, 2022: 10am - 5pm July 24, 2022: 10am-3pm
Making a quilt is a science — measurement, precision, tools, notions, and a fair amount of skill are needed for every project we make, no matter how simple or small.
At the same time, our craft is messy! Quilters are forever learning and experimenting. Every element from color to placement can be a struggle and take days (or years!) to decide on. We create unique methods and tricks, complete project deadlines with no time to spare, and most of us have so much fabric we don’t even know what to do with it.
In this quilt show, we want to highlight both the methods AND the madness. The beautiful piecing and the big risks. The fine points and the new combinations. The artist, scientist, and madman in all of us.
Lectures and workshops from leading quilters and textile artists
