Kick off your Lazy Crazy Summer at our eagerly awaited quilt show, beginning on the first day of summer in 2024! We're getting ready for an exciting lineup of activities, including fabulous prizes, raffles, special exhibits showcasing quilters from across the country, and a bustling vendor hall where you can stock up on projects, supplies, gifts, and quilting inspiration.
Whether you're a seasoned quilter or someone who appreciates the beauty of handmade art, there will be something for everyone in our world of colorful stitches and radiant designs. Mark your calendars and join us for this sun-soaked, stitch-filled adventure!

Vendor hallfor sewing and crafting supplies, gifts, and art
Over 200 judged and exhibition quilts, with entry open to all
Quilto(additional fee): Bingo with a quilt-y twist! Win one of our incredible quilts or a quilt related prize. Both Friday & Saturday at 2:30.
Lectures(additional fee): Sue Nickels Friday June 21, 1:00 pm – “Adventures in Machine Quilting” ; Bobbi Penniman Saturday June 22, 1:00 pm – “Temperature Quilts”
Make & Take: An area for a fun, handmade project(s)s you can make right there to take home. And maybe learn a new skill!
Youth Entries: All entrants 16 and under who enter a quilt will be entered into a drawing for a prize of a sewing machine and other goodies. They will also receive a ribbon and constructive comments from experienced quilters to help them on their quilting journey.
Special Exhibits: We have secured three special exhibits – Cherrywood Monarch Butterflies, Inspired by Endangered Species, and Quilts by Sue Nickels. Don't miss your chance to see this unique display!
Prizes to be Awarded: In addition to the ribboned categories, prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Best Use of Color, and Best Interpretation of Theme. Workmanship prizes for Handwork, Stationary Machine Quilting, Computer Assisted Longarm Quilting, and Hand Guided Longarm quilting will also be awarded by our NACQJ-certified judges.
